Wayne Cook, trumpet

Professor Emeritus of Trumpet, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee 1966-1999. Trumpet Professor, Indiana State University 1964-66. I am currently on the trumpet faculty of the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music since 2002. During the years at UW-Milwaukee, I held positions as Associate Dean of the School of Fine Arts, Chairperson of the Department of Music, and Director of Graduate Studies in Music. As a performer, I played in the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra for fifteen years, Principal Trumpet with the Skylight Comic Opera, Music Under the Stars, the Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra, the Florentine Opera Orchestra, Waukesha Symphony, and Festival City Symphony for thirty-two years. My wife of 39 years teaches fifty Suzuki Piano students and we have three daughters over the age of 30! Marlene and I have two grandchildren, which are our universe.
